ITS THAT TIME OF YEAR AGAIN! HOT SWEATY SUMMER, FLIES OH AND SUNBURN. NO REALLY I DO LOVE XMAS I JUST GET TIRED OF IT BEFORE IT EVEN ARRIVES, I GET SO SICK OF HEARING "ARE YOU READY FOR CHRISTMAS?" EVERY PERSON I SPOKE TO TODAY ASKED ME THAT VERY QUESTION.tHE ANSWER IS NO NO NO!!
JAYDEN HAS HIS EARLY INTERVENTION CHRISTMAS PARTY ON MONDAY HE HAD FUN, HES THE ONLY AUTISTIC ONE THERE BUT HE FITS IN. HE CHEATED IN THE LOLLY TREASURE HUNT HE WOULDNT GO AND HIDE WHILE THEY HID THE LOLLIES SO HE KNEW WHERE TO FIND ALL OF THE LOLLY POPS WHICH MIND YOU HE DOESNT EVEN EAT, HE LIKES TO LOOK AT THEM. HE DID HAVE A GOOD TIME AND BEN CAME TOO WHICH WAS NICE.
TOILET TIMING IS GOING WELL, HE HAS LEARNED TO FLUSH AND WASH HIS HANDS, BUT HE STILL WEE'S IN HIS PANTS, HE IS SO GROWN UP NOW HE WARE UNDIES AND NOT NAPPIES ITS MORE WASHING BUT WE WILL PERSIST.
THE MOMENT HE DOES DO A WEE IN THE TOILET I THINK I WILL HAVE TO BUY HIM THE BIGGEST FREDDO FROG I CAN FIND.
ITS HOT ENOUGH FOR THAT, JAYDEN LOVES OUR POOL ITS NOT BIG BUT HE ABSOLUTLY LOVES IT, HES A SPLASHER OH AND HE LIKES TO DRINK THE POOL WATER.
ITS BENS 27TH BIRTHDAY NEXT WEDNESDAY WE BOUGHT HIM A POOL TABLE, HOPE HE LIKES IT.UNFORTUNATLY HE HAS TO WORK NIGHT SHIFT ON HIS BIRTHDAY SO WE WONT BE HAVING A PARTY FOR HIM, I MIGHT TAKE HIM OUT TO LUNCH THOUGH MAYBE TO HIS FAVE RESTAURANT.

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE I WILL HAVE LOTS OF PHOTOS IN JANUARY KEEP AN EYE OUT.

Wow its been a while since our last post, we have been very busy. Man it is hot, its about 38 degrees celsius, what makes it worse is the sky is covered in smoke because of a bush fire in the mountains, its pretty bad its burnt out about 6000 hectares. Its not near us but still it makes you stop and think.
Any way on news about Jayden everything is going well, he is making progress at a steady rate. He is eating better and sleeping well also he is starting to play with his cousin aswell. He seems to be understanding alot more too and he is doing all the other 3 year olds do (be naughty that is).
I am so not ready for christmas, i still havent finished shopping yet, we are going to my sisters for a week, leaving xmas eve, it should be good. Its the first xmas in 10 years that we wont be having at my house, i dont have to cook YAY!! its weird though im not used to having someone else do it all its always been my thing everyone comes tro my house and i cook and do everything but now i am out of my element.
I know we will definatly enjoy the break, it will be the first time the 3 of us have been away at the same time together.
Tomorrow i am going to an Autism seminar, should be helpful, she is experienced and she knows what she is talking about. She isnt someone who has read a text book and thinks she is an expert. I hate those kind of people.
Weve been lucky enough to see a speech therapist and Occupational therapist asweel this past month after a 2 year waiting list.
We are embarking on toilet training and hopefuly in a few months he will be able to use the toilet on his own and be able to recognise the feeling of needing to go and be able to tell me, im looking foreward to it actually.
Thats all i have for now my younger brother is visiting today and he is bringing his baby who ive only seen twice in 6 months.

This was me about a fourtnight ago i went out with my sister inlaw Sam, my fave pub "The Telegraph" closed down. It was a sad night, nah! not really i had a great time i dont get to go out often but when ido i let my hair down. I danced for about 3 hours i was exhausted the next day and my muscles were killing me. Good exersise.

Jaydens doing well, hes enjoying being with the 3-5 year olds now, he is making soo much progress at the moment. Tonight for dinner he had 3 prawn cutlets, he loves them. Something other than chicken for a change. He has a cold again he just got over it and on Saturday he woke up with a runny nose but hes improving a lot better than before.

3rd Time Lucky

Well today i got my P's i can now drive on my own. It took me 3 attempts but i got there. My lisence photo is horrible. Its a huge relief 'cos now i can get Jayden to preshool in a car, no more walking. Especially now its warming up too, no more maggies swooping me. YAY!!!!!

Spring Time

September the month of hayfever, bees, flies and mozzies.
Sounds exciting doesnt it? Not really, i do like spring however i dont like what it brings.
Any way change of subject, Jayden has started eating yogurt, by himself with a spoon. We are sooo very proud of him, he started doing it all by himself without any help from us.
To some people it may seem like a minor accomplishment but to us it is huge! Hopefully this will lead to other things.
Lets see what else has been happening? Not much,Ben and i havent had much time to ourselves lately and its taking its toll, we qualify for respite care but i can never get a hold of them when i need them.We want to go see a performance by the Shoalin Monks next week but if we cant get a sitter then we wont be going.
I get so stressed sometimes that all i want to do is go to the pub and just drink, unwind, relax and have a good time and not be a mother for a while. Man how good that would be.
God knows i need a break, from everything. I dont know who i am anymore, Jaydens mother and Bens wife but when am i Tina ???
Sounds selfish doesnt it? Well its not! I am sooo tired Ben and Jayden are always sick so i am always caring for them and now spring is here it starts again, with allergies. Fun Fun Fun!!!!
I am definatly not in the best state of mind at the moment,Dah!

Hi everyone, it has been a while we have all been sick with the flu. Jayden has a chest and throat infection and Ben has a throat infection and me, well i have blocked ears and sinus.
Its been a very long month, Jayden is doing well (apart from being sick) he is trying to put his shoes and socks on, and he will now play in another room without me, so he is trying to become independant. Which i am loving because this was one thing i was concerned about. He will now do a poo at preschool instead of waiting to come to do it(im happy with that one less nappy to change) hes been quite happy too, more adventurouse and very very cheeky, he thinks it is hallarious to turn on and off the TV over and over again.
I went for my Lisence last week, i failed so i am goining again this Wednesday fingers crossed. I need my lisence spring starts in a week and a half.
I read Kiraleas blog, she and her family have moved, i dont have any way of getting in contact with her SO KIRA IF YOU READ THIS PLEASE SEND ME YOUR ADDRESS OR PHONE.
I think she has moved to Hawks nest which is closer to us, ill have to check my atlas, her boy Jordan is doing great, she must be so proud. I cant wait for Jayden to get to Jordans stage.

Update

Its been soo long i know, we have been busy busy , so here is the latest.
We gave away the cat when we found out Jay was allergic(bummer) and now we have a beautiful black Labrador "Polly" she is the cutest puppy, although she dosn't look like apuppy she is 11 weeks and she is massive. Jayden loves her and vice versa, he even runs around with her. I believe she will be a great teaching tool for him and a companion aswell.
Pre school is going well, he has a friend"joshua" Josh follows Jay everywhere, he dosn't seem to mind though. And he is learning to throw a ball to another person and to catch aswell, a simple but very important skill to learn. He had his first school photos last week, we havent got them back yet, when i get them i will post one.
At home Jayden is eating better, he will nibble on a cob of corn now, and will play with peas, we let him play with the food until he is ready to eat it, that seems to be working. He has unfortunatly become addicted to "Freddos" we gave him one now he is obsessed.
The tantrums are more frequent now pretty much everyday. Over little things which im sure to him they are huge.
Myself, well i will be going for my Lisence in about 3 weeks just after my 27th b'day, fingers crossed i get it first go, what else have i been doing???
Started working a home internet based business, thats going well.
Ben , dosn't need surgery thank god, he had pollups up his nose, all clear now....
So basically life is OK nothing dramatic has happened oh except my brother and his fiancee had a baby boy the other day "9lb 2oz" OUCH!!!!!
